[2012-03-20] Shin Shin Benefit Concert Raise Fund to Help Rural Children in China【World Journal】 Shin Shin Educational Foundation collaborated with Synaptics Inc. and hosted a benefit concert on March 18. The foundation's president Steve Ting said, this concert is to raise fund for the English and computer teachers training program (ECTT) for rural schools in China. The goal is between $30K and $40K.
The concert lasted for three hours, filled with great performances by the Synaptics Band, Bayland Dance, and Vocalists Sue Ma, Frank Au-Yeung , Shine Zhao, Dezhong Liu etc. Many community supporters attended the event, including Cupertino city council Barry Chang, former Cupertino Mayor Chris Wang, and Chinese Deputy Consul General in San Francisco, Xianrong Yi.
