古市扶輪社要幫災校重建 Cupertino Rotary Club Plans to Help Rebuild Damaged Schools.
【5月22日/May 22】古市扶輪社已去過中國東北和青海﹐今年則前往湖南訪問欣欣小學﹐大家 對中國老百姓很有感情﹐想要幫中國。即將接任新會張的丁永慶說﹐ 27日扶輪社和欣欣將會商﹐ 如何對災區的學校重建幫上忙。The Cupertino Rotary Club has visited northeast China and Qinghai. This year, they went to visit Shin Shin schools in Hunan Province. They have deep feelings for the Chinese people and want to help China. 欣欣已籌募五萬元援助欣欣小學 50K Donation Received for School Restoration after Earthquake.

【5月13日/May 13】古柏蒂奴市扶輪社的成員們這些日子正在中國﹐給眾多需要幫助的殘疾人士送去免費的輪椅﹐ 這一愛心活動是古柏蒂奴市扶輪社和欣欣教育基金會合作之後得以成行的。Cupertino Rotary Club members are visiting China to bring free wheelchairs to people with disabilities in Hunan Province. 四川強震--欣欣呼籲伸出援手、共襄義舉 Fundraising for Sichuan Earthquake.
【5月12日/May 12】美國欣欣教育基金會得知五月十二日下午2時28分，在大陸四川發生規模達7.8的強烈地震， 震央在汶川縣境內，地震造成四川多個地區建築物嚴重受損，據初步估計，目前有超過一萬人死亡，損失慘重。 依據報導，在四川的北川縣、眉山市、資陽市都有嚴重傷亡。 欣欣教育基金會首先捐出美金一萬元，作為四川、重慶共卅一 所欣欣小學緊急使用金，同時也希望灣區善心人士願意幫助欣欣小學重建家園者能伸出援手、共襄義舉。On Monday, May 12, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake rocked the Sichuan province of central China. The damage is devastating and the earthquake has been the worst in China for over three decades. With multiple reports of local school building collapses, it is truly heartbreaking. Shin Shin has rebuilt and renovated 26 schools in Sichuan and five schools in Chongqing in the past six years.
