2002-2007共興建、維修五所欣欣小學。Shin Shin rebuilt and remodeled five schools in Chongqing from 2002 to 2007.

重慶，位於四川盆地東部，地處丘陵地帶，多山多霧，故 有"山城"、"霧都"的別稱。因境內嘉陵江古稱渝水， 故簡稱渝。重慶是中國第四個成立的直轄市，從行政區劃 面積、人口數量、農業人口比例來看相當於一個省。 重慶是西南地區的經濟中心，中國六大國有計劃工業基地 之一，經濟綜合實力在西部較強，按重慶直轄市的經濟總 量在西部十二個省級地區列第五位，主城區居第一位。 同時重慶是一個大城市與大農村的結合體，農村地域廣闊 ，農業人口眾多，城市化的道路還比較漫長。重慶歷來是 長江上游水路交通樞紐，江邊碼頭林立，商船穿梭頻繁， 旅人來往如鯽。蜀中、中國西南乃至整個長江流域的城市 文化在這裡都有交融。 重慶是以漢族為主體，土家族、苗族、回族、滿族、彝族 、藏族等40多個少數民族。少數民族人口佔全市人口的 6.37%，以土家族、苗族為主。域內各少數民族仍保留著 自己的傳統習俗。土家族有擺手舞、趕年、唱儺戲、花燈 ，苗族有趕秋節、踩山節，此外還有羊馬節、火星節、哭 嫁、跳喪等民族習俗和活動。土家吊腳樓和苗族刺繡、蠟 染獨具特色。多姿多彩的民俗風情已成為重慶重要的旅遊 資源。 Chongqing is the largest and most populous of China's four provincial-level municipalities. Its abbreviated name, "Yu," is derived from the old name of a part of the Jialing River that runs through Chongqing and feeds the Yangtze River. Located on the edge of the Yungui Plateau, Chongqing is intersected by the Jialing River and the upper reaches of the Yangtze. The city is very hilly and is the only major metropolitan area in China without a significant number of bicycles. Chongqing is the biggest inland river port in western China. Historically, most of its transportation, especially to eastern China, is via the Yangtze River. The climate is semi-tropical, with the two-season monsoon variations typical of Southern Asia. It has hot summers, with temperatures as high as 43C (109F). Along with Wuhan and Nanjing, it is known as one of the "three furnaces" of China. In the winter, it is wet and warm. While it seldom snows, most days are foggy.

欣欣己在榮昌、梁平和萬州區各修建一所學校。將會在 2007-2008年期間，在梁平和萬州區各加修建一所學校。 總共五所學校，學生將達2,300，老師103人。居民和學生 多半是由長江三峽修建被遷移過來，生活較之辛苦，很多 學生離校較遠，大半住校，校舍陰暗潮溼，校多半是危房 ，學校也沒有微機等設備。由於欣欣建設基金和後繼基金 ，其中兩個學校設立了圖書室，一個學校加了電腦設備， 學生在校學習和住校環境都大有改進。 Shin Shin has one school in Rong-chang, one in Liang-ping and one in Wan-zhou. Shin Shin will build one more in Liang- ping and Wan-zhou during 2007-2008 period. The schools will be able to house about 2,300 students and 105 teachers total in these five schools. Most residents migrated from the Yangtze River Three Gorges area due to the Yangtze Dam project. Life is harsh in most remote areas. Students used to have to stay in deteriorated school housing. Most of the classrooms were dark and humid. All buildings were unsafe to use. The school did not have any computer equipment for teaching prior to Shin Shin's contributions. With Shin Shin's funding, two schools set up the library and one school set up the computer lab. All the buildings and learning conditions have improved.
