本校建於1952年, 在丘陵地區。 建築朽蝕, 房頂漏水, 教室陰暗潮溼。 在2000年成為危房, 但沒有資金 修建。 共有 6 間教室, 7位教員, 學生243名。 由於教室不夠用, 附近有100多個學生, 被迫步行 6,7 公里, 摸黑到其他學校上課。 學校佔地面積 3500平方米, 預計擴建一幢兩層學樓, 630平方米, 8 間教室, 2 間辨公室。 可容納約 290名學生, 預算建校資金總額約 23萬3千元人民幣, 已於 2004年 6月份開工。 村民約10060人 (4個村). 平均收入578元人民幣, 生活非常辛苦。 學校沒有微機等設備。 This elementary school was built around 1952 in a mountainous area. It serves four nearby villages that have a total population of approximately 10,060 people. Life is tough with the average income being 578 RMB. Most of the building is deteriorated; the roof has leaks and all the classrooms are dark and humid. The school was declared a dangerous and unsafe building in 2000, but due to a lack of funding, the building has not yet been repaired. There are six classrooms, seven teachers, and 243 students. Due to a lack of classrooms, about 100 students are forced to walk 6,000 to 7,000 meters every day to other schools to take classes. The school occupies 3,500 square meters and plans to build a two-story building of an estimated 630 square meters. There will be eight classrooms and two offices, and it will be able to house about 290 students. The estimated cost for the new building is 233,000 RMB. Construction began in June 2004.

學校是於明未修建，山高坡陡，需開30到40多分鐘山路。風景優美，靠月亮灣溫泉，但自然條件差，牆壁嚴重風化，地基下沉， 屋頂損破。1997年已定為危房，有多間教室已無法上課。我們視察時，見到樓上地板下沉，非常危險。學生多來自鄰近村落。 村民生活非常辛苦。平均收入約658人民幣。目前共七班，現有學生460人，十八位教員，學校佔地面積 5330平方米，預計擴建校舍 1980平方米，後可容納約460名學生，教室十二間，辦公室四間，寢室二間。預算建校資金總額約 46.7 萬元人民幣。 This elementary school was originally built around the Ming Dynasty. The school is located on a steep hill, and it takes a 30-40 minute drive on a winding road to get to the school. The scenery is beautiful and close to Moon Bay Hot Spring Resort. However, the road and school conditions are very poor. Most of the building is severely damaged by the weather. The building foundation is sinking and the roofs are leaking. All of the buildings were declared unsafe to use in 1997. Several classrooms are no longer in use. We experienced the upstairs floor sinking during our visit in September 2005. Students mostly come from villages around the neighborhood. The average income is 658RMB. This school currently has 7 classes, 460 students, and 18 teachers. The school occupies 5330 square meters, with the new school building occupying an estimated 1980 square meters. It will be able to house about 460 students. The estimated cost of the new building is 467,000RMB. The new building will have 12 classrooms, 4 offices, and 2 bedrooms for teachers.
