本校原名稱為肅州區移民農場小學，於70年代由當地農戶自發集資，投工投料建成。 現有330平方米校舍均成危房。地處肅州城區以東40公里處，近荒原戈壁。農民人均純收入401元為全區最低。 現在校生64人，另有120人在外校借讀，教師4人。無英語師資，體育設施、電化設備及圖書均缺乏。計畫新建校舍 500平方米， 工程投資30萬元。 The school was originally called the “Immigrant Farm School,” founded and constructed by local farmers who emigrated from other areas. The current building size is 330 square meters, all of which are rated as being under serious conditions. The school is located 40,000 meters east of the downtown uZhou Sector in Jiuquan City. It is on the outskirts of the city near the desert. The average annual income for local farmers is the lowest in the sector at 401 RMB. There are 64 students (another 120 are relocated to a nearby high school temporarily due to lack of usable classrooms) and 4 teachers. There is no English teacher, nor are there an adequate sports facility, lab equipment, or books in the library. The new construction plan will cost 300,000 RMB and cover a total area of 500 square meters.

本校為六年制小學，附帶一年學前教育，共七個班級，在校生285名，教職工8人。現有校舍始建於1978年， 建築面積577平方米。近期因周邊地區地震，部分校舍已坍塌。學校地處祈連山腳，服務人口1780人，年人均可支配金為451元。 計畫投資48萬元，新建校舍900平方米，已於2004年六月動工，預定九月初可竣工。 This is a kindergarten through sixth grade school with seven classes, 285 students, and 8 teachers. The current building was constructed in 1978 and covers an area of 577 square meters. Due to recent earthquakes in the neighboring areas, part of the building has collapsed. The school is located near the foot of the famous QiLian Mountain, serving a population of 1,780 residents with an average per capita income of 451 RMB. The project plan is to invest 480,000 RMB toward the construction of 900 square meters. The project started in June 2004 and is scheduled for completion by early September 2004.

黃渠鄉地處敦煌市最北端，清水村有人口1900，地處偏遠，土地貧瘠。本校現有學生201人，教師7人，附屬幼兒園有42人， 幼兒教師2人。因校舍緊缺，六年級學生在外借讀。原教室面積420平方米，擬改擴建為630平方米，並增建辦公室一幢320平方米， 另建修廁所、圍牆等，預計工程總投資約63萬元人民幣。 The school is located in a poor and remote area near the northern tip of DunHuang City. The Qinshui (meaning Clearwater) village has a population of 1,900 residents. There are currently 201 students and 7 teachers at the elementary school. In addition, there are 42 students and two teachers at the kindergarten. Due to the lack of a classroom, the sixth-grade students temporarily study elsewhere at a local high school. The current building size is 420 square meters, and the planned new classroom size will be 630 square meters. Additionally, there will also be an office area of 320 square meters plus restrooms, walls, and other supporting facilities. The total estimated cost is 630,000 RMB.

李家墩村現有村民343戶，1810人，全村農民人均收入486人民幣/年。本校創建於1969年， 現有建築面積880平方米，含教室8間，辦公室5間。在校學生261人（其中六年級在鎮中學借讀），教師12人。 擬新建校舍含8個教學班，可容學生280人，並有閱覽室、微機室、實驗室、體育器材室、辦公室及廁所等，總面積939平方米， 總投資約58萬元。 The village has 343 households and 1,810 residents with an average annual income of 486 RMB. The school was first founded in 1969, with a building size of 880 square meters including 8 classrooms and 5 offices. There are 261 students (the sixth-graders borrow a local high school classroom) and 12 teachers. The new construction project includes 8 classrooms that can accommodate 280 students. In addition, there will also be a small library, PC lab (with no computers), science lab, sports equipment storage room, offices, and restrooms. The total construction size is 939 square meters with an estimated cost of 580,000 RMB.

本校為四年制不完全小學，附設幼兒園。目前有小學六班131人，幼兒園兩班60人，教師8人。 學校生源來自三個行政村共1900人口。農民人年均收入410元。擬擴建磚混結構平房校舍432平方米，總投資26萬元人民幣。 This school covers grades kindergarten through fourth. There are six classes and 131 students in the elementary school, 2 classes and 60 students in the kindergarten, and a total of 8 teachers. The students come from three villages that have a total population of 1,900 residents. The average disposable annual income per villager is 410 RMB. The new construction project will be a mixed concrete/brick structure of 432 square meters at an estimated cost of 260,000 RMB. Construction started in June 2004 after signing the contract with Shin Shin Educational Foundation.

#186 甘肅永登縣柳樹鄉欣欣民族小學

柳樹鄉欣欣民族小學修建於1984年，為一所六年制完全小學。現有一至六年級六個班級，共學生一百九十八名，教員十三名。 學校佔地6,210平方米，校舍建築面積1,039平方米，其中315平方米經有關單位鑑定為 D級危房。校舍重建計劃完成後， 可有會議室三間，實驗室兩間，微機室兩間，辦公室四間，教室宿舍四間，可招學生達二百一十名。本工程預算資金總額約 19.2萬元人民幣，工程已於2005年八月底完工。居民平均每年每人收入為 1,000元人民幣，可支配現金收入為800元人民幣。 This school was originally built in 1984. Currently, there are 6 classes (first through sixth grade), 13 teachers, and 198 students. The building area is 1,039 square meters, of which 315 square meters are classified as being in "dangerous condition" that needs to be rebuilt. With Shin Shin Foundation's financial support, the school renovation plan will rebuild the old building and turn it into three conference rooms, two general labs, two computer labs, four regular classrooms, and four dormitory rooms. After the completion of this rebuilding project, the school will accommodate 210 students. The project construction budget is about 192,000 RMB. The construction work was completed at the end of August 2005. The average per capita income is 1,000RMB.
