董家岭小學位於東鄉縣. 該縣是全國唯一以東鄉族為主體的少數民族自治縣. 董岭鄉內因無學校, 該鄉內3個行政村裡僅有 45名適齡學童可至5公里以外學校就讀. 因就學路途遙遠之故, 鄉內有將近256多名適齡學童因此失學或輟學. 本建校計劃預計新建 一所九年制初級中學, 初期計劃興建綜合教學實驗樓一幢 (設6個教學班, 圖書室, 儀器室, 計算機室各一間), 教師宿舍8間, 師生廁所4間及師生生活用房一間. 校舍完成後, 將可解決289多名鄉內學童就讀需求. 本校舍新建工程預算資金總額約62.05萬元人民幣， 除欣欣基金會補助之壹萬美元外, 其餘不足額由縣,鄉補助或其他項目補足。本村居民職業以農業為主, 平均每年每人收入為750元 人民幣, 可支配收入為620元人民幣。 This school is located in Dong Xiang county where the county is the only county consists primarily with Dong Xiang minority. There're 3 villages under the administration of county government. Since there's no school available inside of the village, many school children have to walk 5 kilo miles to school located in the county. Hence, 256 school children within this village are forced to stop schooling due to the distance difficulty. The proposal plans to build a new elementary school that will include a multiple- usage teaching and laboratory building, faculty dormitory, and restroom. Upon the completion of this project, the school will benefit 500 plus school children to receive education without traveling long distance for schooling on daily basis. The project is budgeted at $620,500RMB, including the donation of US$10,000.00 from Shin-Shin Foundation. The construction work has begun in June 2006. The primary income for the locals are from agricultural activities and the average per capita income is $750RMB, with disposable income at $620 RMB.

本校始建於1919年，學校佔地11,665平方米. 現有六個年級十二個教學班,學生五百九十三名與教師23名。校舍佔地1,518平方米, 其中校舍約492平方米因年久失修, 牆壁裂縫, 屬"D"級危房。本項目計劃拆除危樓, 在原址新建教學樓一幢, 內設教室八間, 教師辦公室四間, 建築面積1,012平方米。 本工程預算資金總額約70萬元人民幣，除欣欣基金會補助之壹萬美元外, 其餘不足額由縣, 鄉補助或其他項目籌措補足。工程預計於2006年八月底完工。 This school was originally built in 1919. Currently the school area is 11,665 square meters and 1,518 square meters are of building area. The school has 6 grades and 12 classes, with 593 students and 23 full-time teachers and staff. Due to lack of maintenance and aging on buildings, the 492 square meters of school building are marked as "dangerous condition" and must be rebuilt. The rebuilding project plans to demolish old buildings and turn into one new building with 8 classrooms and 4 teacher office rooms. The project is projected at $700,000 RMB, including the default donation of US$10,000.00 from Shin-Shin Foundation. The construction is projected to complete by the end of August 2006.

The school is a complete 6-grade elementary school that the area stands at 14,000 square meters, of which 2,412 square meters are of building area. The school has 7 classes with 263 students and 28 teachers and staff. Due to lack of maintenance and aging on buildings, 1,644 square meters of the school buildings are all marked as "dangerous condition" and must be rebuilt. The rebuilding project plans to add a new building of 480 square meters and plan to use this new building as classrooms, teacher office rooms, staff and student restrooms…etc. With the addition of the new building, the projected enrollment is 320 students and the dormitory can house 70 students. The school is a complete 6-grade elementary school with 6 classes. The school area stands at 5,366 square meters, of which 750 square meters are of building area. The school has 277 students and 12 teachers and staff. Due to lack of maintenance and aging on buildings, the school building that were built in 1970s are all certified as "dangerous condition" and must be rebuilt. The rebuilding project plans to demolish the old buildings and convert it into a new building of 930 square meters and plan to use this new building as classrooms, teacher office rooms, staff and student restrooms.
