本校始建於1975年,目前共有六班,十名教員,三百五十名學生。校舍佔地面積673平方米,其中危房佔45%。 擬擴建學校後共有十班,十二名老師,四百五十名學生。總建築面積842平方米,預算建校資金總額約二十一萬元人民幣, 已於2004年6月開工。全村四面臨戈壁,風沙大。村民1250人,多半是從甘肅東部乾旱地區移民過來,生活艱苦,農民人 均純收入為每年411元人民幣。 This elementary school was originally built in 1975 in a village surrounded by deserts with heavy wind and dust. The village population is 1,250 residents, most of who migrated from the dry land in the Eastern part of Gansu Province. Life there is tough with an average per capita income of 411 RMB. Currently, there are six classes, 10 teachers, and 350 students. The property area is 672 square meters, about 45% of which is considered “under dangerous conditions” and shouldn’t be used. With Shin Shin Foundation’s financial support, there is a plan to rebuild and expand the school into 10 classes, 12 teachers, and accommodate up to 450 students, covering a total area of 842 square meters. The projected construction budget is around 210,000 RMB, and construction began in June 2004.

本校創建於1969年,校舍面積1394平方米,危房面積達454平方米。現有六個年級,在校生190人,教師8名。 預計拆除四間房舍,新建四間教室,建築面積約240平方米,工程造價18萬元人名幣。本村人口近1500人,土地貧瘠, 農民年人均純收入不足424元。全校僅一台微機,不敷教學所需。 The school was first established in 1969 with a total area of 1,394 square meters, of which 454 square meters are in dangerous conditions. The school serves a village population of 1,500 residents on barren land with an average annual income of 424 RMB per person. There is only one personal computer in the school and is quite insufficient for normal teaching requirements. There are now six classes, eight teachers, and 190 students. They plan to tear down four old buildings and rebuild four new classrooms. The new construction area is 240 square meters and has an estimated cost of 180,000 RMB.
