本校始建于1957年，目前有12班，23名教師，在校學生530人。原學校佔地約3000平方米，原校舍總面積624平方米， 教室14間，辦公室三間，其中34%屬危房，有的屬D級危房，近於倒塌。由于資金有限，擬建計劃包括一棟四層教學綜合樓 （有12個教室和4個辦公室）。建築面積達860平方米，預算建校基金總額35.8萬人民幣，建成候學校面積擴充至6000平方米， 可擴招約90名學生，可容納約600名學童就學。該小學校所屬台江縣屬國家級貧困地區。總人口約6000余人，管轄區域45平方公里， 人均年收入928人民幣，可支配現金收入人均僅285人民幣. This elementary school was originally built in 1957 and is located in one of the most remote regions in the Gui Zhou province. The remoteness of this region cannot be measured solely by the distances from major cities, but rather by the time it takes to get there. Though the school is only 28,000 meters from the nearest Tai Jiang County, a one-way trip between them takes more than 3 hours by car. About 6,000 people live in the local community, of which 10% are children between the ages of 6 and 12. Annual income per capita is 928 RMB, and dispensable annual income (minus essential living cost) is only 285 RMB per person. Currently, 530 students are enrolled. They are divided into 12 classes and supervised by 23 teachers. The school covers an area of 3000 square meters, but 14 classrooms, three teachers’ offices, and a dormitory only add up to 624 square meters. Nearly 34% of the facilities are classified as “endangered class D, unsuitable for usage”. With Shin Shi n Foundation’s financial support, the school proposed to build a new four-story building with 12 classrooms and 4 teachers’ offices. The estimated budget is 358,000 RMB, with a total construction area of 860 square meters. The school’s teaching facility will double after the project is completed, and it will be able to accommodate 90 additional students.

本校始建于 1975 年，學校現有16 名教師，10 個教學班，417 學生。學校佔地面積5300余平方米， 原校舍建築面積 772平方米，年久失修，經鑒定，為D級危房。現計劃新建教學樓一棟，建築面積 1095 平方米， 包括教室16間、辦公室、圖書儀器室、實驗室、及會議室。另建綜合樓一棟，建築面積960平方米，作教師宿舍、 學生食堂、及鍋爐房。計劃還包括興建籃球場、圍牆、校門、及廁所。共需基金 93萬元人民幣，本地教育局提供 81萬元， 本地勞力投資近4萬元。建成後學校可容納 640學生，增加教師至 28名，擴充教學班達 16個。本地山多且田地少，總人口 4173， 其中適齡學童 617 人，人均收入不足400元人民幣，屬貧困區。 This elementary school was built in 1975. Currently there are 16 teachers, 10 classes, and 417 students. The original school site covers an area of 5300 square meters and an actual construction area of 772 square meters. Lacking maintenance, the building has been deteriorating and turning into a fragile condition. It was examined and classified by the government construction department as a "D" level dangerous building. With Shin Shin Foundation's financial support, they plan to rebuild two buildings, basketball courts, fences, gates, and toilets. Building No. 1 of 1075 square meters will consist of 16 classrooms, offices, a lab, storage, and meeting room. Building No. 2 of 960 square meters is being designed for a teacher dormitory, cafeteria, and facilities. The estimated budget is over 930,000 RMB. The education department will provide 810,000 RMB and the local community will offer about 40,000 RMB of labor cost. When the plan is completed, 640 students will be allowed to enroll into 16 classes supervised by 28 teachers. The school is in a hilly area with limited cultivated land. The total population is 4173 and there are 617 school-aged children. Annual income per capita is below 400 RMB.

莫魚堡小學于1937由村民集資建成。建築面積 275平方米，有一棟木結構教學樓，屬D級危房。 學校總面積 3650平方米。本小學現有學生 258，分 7個教學班，有九名教職工。按教育佈局調整方案，本校將擴大規模， 合併附近寨口小學。學校人數將增加至 330人。計劃新建的學校離原校址 30米，可通水通電，近交通。計劃修建教學樓為兩層， 磚結構，面積 526平方米，有教室 7間，實驗室 1間，教師辦公室1間。並新建廁所一間，占 50平方米。總計劃工程投資 25萬元人民幣，其中欣欣基金會投資 8.2萬元人民幣，縣人民政府自籌資金 16.8萬元。全縣少數民族占人口總數的 62%， 農業人口占 93.9%。人均收入 645人民幣，可支配現金收入僅 130人民幣，屬國家級貧困縣。學校少數民族師生占 95%。 This elementary school was built in 1937 using solicited fund from local villagers. Although the entire school site is 3560 square meters, the total construction area covers only 275 square meters. The only wood-structured teaching building has been classified as a level "D" endangered building. Currently, 258 students are enrolled into 7 classes supervised by a total of 9 teachers and staff. Minority students and teachers constitute over 95% of the school's population. According to local government planning, this elementary school will expand in the near future to include the nearby Zhao Kou elementary school. After the expansion, there will be about 330 students. The proposed school construction site is 30 meters from the original site, and ill have running water, electricity, and be closer to transportation. The proposed school construction plan includes a two-story brick-structured building of 526 square meters. There will be 7 classrooms, one lab, and a teachers' office. The proposed plan also includes a restroom of 50 square meters. The project is budgeted at 250,000 RMB. Shin Shin contributed 82,000 RMB. The remaining 168,000 RMB was matched by the local county government. The largely farming local community consists of 62% minority population. The county is below the national poverty level. The annual income per capita is 645 RMB, of which about 130 RMB is dispensable cash income.

本校目前有4班，5名教師，在校學生102人。原學校占地約1120平方米，原校舍總面積115平方米，教室3間， 辦公室0間，其中100%屬危房，有的屬D級危房，近于倒塌。擬建計划包10個教室和1個辦公室。建筑面積達584平方米， 預算建校基金總額29.2万人民幣，建成后學校面積2100 平方米，擴充後的學校可容納約240名學童就學，分六個班由12名教師負責， 會徹底解決當地生源流失的問題。該小學校所屬長順縣屬國家級貧困地區。總人口約 1840余人，管轄區域42平方公里， 可支配年現金收入人均僅400RMB. This elementary school currently has 102 students enrolled in 4 classes. The original school site is 1120 square meters with 115 square meters dedicated for teaching purpose. There are four classrooms and no office for the teachers, all of which are classified as class D endangered building. A lot of the local children were forced to attend classes in nearby villages. With Shinshin Educational Foundation’s help, the school plans to rebuild all of the endangered building. The overall teaching facilities will cover over 584 square meters, with ten classrooms. The new school will be expanded to 2100 square meters and can accommodate 240 students and 12 teachers. The school is 10 km from Chang Shun County government and 8 km from the closest road to town. The school district has a population of 1840, covers about 42 square kilometers. Annual dispensable income per capita is only 400 RMB.
