黑龍江省地處東北因黑龍江流過中俄邊境得名，面積 453100平方公里(排全國第6位)，冬天苦寒，夏季涼爽 ；人口是約38,130,000(排全國第16位)，是中華民族的 大熔爐，包括漢、滿、朝鮮、蒙古、回族、達斡爾、鄂 倫春、赫哲族、柯爾克孜、及鄂溫克族。氣候的因素， 黑龍江省的特產有木材、大豆、甜菜、亞麻。黑龍江的 大慶油田堪稱中國第一。Heilongjiang (Black Dragon River) Province is located in the northeast section of China. Covering an area of 453,100 square kilometers (ranked #6 in China), the province has long, cold winters and short, cool summers. The population of Heilongjiang is about 38,130,000 (ranked #16 in China) and includes such nationalities as Han, Manchurian, Korean, Mongolian, Muslim, Daur, Oroqen, Hezhen, Kirgiz, and Ewenki. As China's most northern province, Heilongjiang has the highest latitude of all provinces in China. It is ranked first in China in terms of yielding timber, soybeans, beets, and linen.

With its beautiful landscape, Heilongjiang Province is one of China's famous scenic provinces. The province contains the Five Grand Lakes of the Volcano Park. Jingpo Lake is a 90-square- kilometer lake that is known for its tranquil surroundings, mirror- like water surface, wooded mountains, and fresh air. The misty Xingkai Lake has a wild expanse, the world-famous Zhalong National Preserve for Red-Crowned Cranes, and the North Pole Village where you can witness the wonderful aurora borealis. Every year, a Snow and Ice Festival is held in Harbin attracting many tourists from around the world. From Heihe, a town at the Russian border, one can make a day trip to Siberia. One of Shin Shin's schools is located in the city of Heihe. The province contains 12 cities and Daixingan districts and 68 counties, while Harbin is its capital.

欣欣的第一所學校就選在哈爾濱的雙城市。欣欣 的11所學校分佈在6個城市：哈爾濱市-4所；綏化市-3 所；齊齊哈爾市-1所；伊春市-1所；雙鴨山市-1所；黑 河市-1所。除2007的二所尚未竣工外，其他九所學校在 欣欣長期照顧下，有了現代化的電腦室和建立圖書室。 每年應用欣欣的小額後續基金，各學校增強體育、樂器 、桌椅及教學設備。欣欣加強學校硬體設備外更重視學 校軟體的配合。今年有七位老師參加湖南英語培訓班， 提升英語師資2005-2006欣欣頒贈12位欣欣的學生獎學 金，直到他們初中畢業，使這些貧窮農村的孩子有機會 接受完整的九年教育。 Shin Shin's first school started in Shuangcheng of Harbin. Shin Shin's 11 schools are located in six different cities of Heilongjiang. Except for the two 2007 incomplete schools, all other nine schools are under Shin Shin's long-term care. They have their own computer and library rooms and updated equipment. Seven teachers attended Hunan English Training Program this year to improve their teaching skills. Twelve Heilongjiang students were awarded Shin Shin/SOAR's scholarship in 2005 and 2006. The scholarship fund will continue until these 12 students graduate from middle school.
