吉林 Jilin

1998-2005共興建、維修八所欣欣小學。Shin Shin rebuilt and remodeled 8 schools in Jilin from 1998 to 2005.

吉林省是位於東北的中心，東南隔鴨綠江和圖們江接朝 鮮半島，並與俄羅斯隔水相望。全省總面積187,400平 方公里(排全國13)，人口26,990,000(排全國21)，融合 漢、朝鮮、滿、回、蒙、錫伯族群。 經濟主要是出於 對森林業也是中國的農業大省。 吉林省長期受到滿族文化及習俗影響，形成一種獨特的 東北風情。吉林省有大面積的原始森林分佈長白山區， 從吉林省的東南部延伸至北朝鮮。森林中有珍禽異獸， 以及種類繁多的中草藥，是國家重點自然保護區。天池 是長白山著名的旅遊景點。吉林省因天池和長白山如夢 似幻的傳說而披上神祕色彩。在冬天，美麗的松花江以 及松花湖畔的霧淞，另你終生回味。 The Jilin province is located in the center of northeast China, bordering southeast Russia, and neighboring the Korean peninsula, with the Yalujiang River and the Tumenjiang River as the dividing line. The province covers an area of 187,400 square kilometers (ranked 13 in China) and has a population of 27 million (ranked 21 in China) which includes the Han, Korean, Manchurian, Muslim, Mongolian, and Xibe ethnic groups. The economy is mainly driven by its forest industry. Jilin, a province long inhabited by the Manchu, is tucked away in the northeast of China. Jilin province's Changbai Shan (Ever- White Mountain) is the country's largest nature reserve. The reserve is located in the southeast area of the province, close to the border with North Korea.

吉林省包含8個城市-長春、白城、松源、吉林、四平、 遼源、通化、白山和延邊朝鮮族自治州，其首府設在長 春。欣欣的第二所學校就選在白城市。 Shin Shin's eight schools are located in four different cities of Jilin. All eight schools are under the long-term care of Shin Shin and individual sponsors; they have their own computer, library rooms, and necessary updated equipment.

欣欣的有八所學 校分佈在四個城市：白城市-4所；通化市-1所；吉林市 -2所；遼源市-1所。吉林省的八所學校在欣欣和捐款人長期照顧下，有了現 代化的電腦室和建立圖書室。每年應用欣欣的小額後續 基金，各學校增強體育、音樂、桌椅及教學設備。欣欣 不但加強學校硬體設備外，更重視學校軟體的配合。今 年有十四位老師參加湖南英語培訓班，參加培訓者都取 得很好的評語、提升英語師資。2005-2006年欣欣頒贈 八位欣欣的學生獎學金，直到他們初中畢業，使這些貧 窮農村的孩子有機會接受完整的九年教育。特別感謝邵 中權先生、李慧君女士、高佩文女士及曹美鳳女士對他 們捐資的學校繼續在金錢及精神上永續的支持，在此致 上最高的敬意。 Shin Shin has emphasized both the hardware and the software upgrades for the schools. This year 14 teachers attended Hunan English Training Program, and all 14 attendees completed the class and received outstanding compliments from the instructors and the program. This training will definitely benefit Shin Shin's students. In addition, eight Jilin students were awarded Shin Shin/Soar's four-year scholarship in 2005-2006. Shin Shin wishes to recognize the sponsors - Mr. Jong-Chyuan Shaw, Mrs. Eleanor Lee, Mrs. Pei-Wen Kao, and Mrs. Juliana Han for their continuous monetary and spiritual support of their sponsored schools.
