寧夏 Ningxia

2003-2004共興建、維修十所欣欣小學。Shin Shin rebuilt and remodeled ten schools in Ningxia from 2003 to 2004.

寧夏回族自治區簡稱寧，位于我國的西北地區，黃河 中游，現轄1地區、3地級市、2縣級市、15縣。全自治 區面積為6.6萬多平方千米。自治區首府銀川。寧夏煤 鐵、硅、石膏等礦藏豐富，煤廣佈于90%的縣，煤質 優良。寧夏平原引黃河灌溉已有兩千多年歷史，稻田 遍布，重要的商品糧基地。 寧夏位于"絲綢之路"上，歷史上曾是東西部交通貿易 的重要通道，作為黃河流經的地區，這裡同樣有古老 悠久的黃河文明。早在三萬年前，寧夏就已有了人類 生息的痕跡，公元1038年，黨項族的首領元昊在此建 立了西夏王朝，並形成了獨特的西夏文化。在寧夏不 大的版圖上，包含了類型多樣的地貌：山脈、高原、 平原、丘陵、河谷一應俱全，使寧夏呈現出豐富的自 然景觀。 寧夏是回族自治區，回族人口佔總人口的三分之一，是中國的穆斯林省，區內共有三千多座清真寺，營造出了濃郁 的伊斯蘭氛圍。 悠久的歷史、多樣的地貌、特有的民俗，購成了寧夏豐富多彩的旅遊資源：綿延不絕的賀蘭山、六盤山，濁流滾滾 的九曲黃河，浩瀚無垠的沙漠和草原，有東方金字塔之稱的西夏王陵、中國四大石窟之一的須彌山石窟，以及獨具 特色的回族風情。 Ningxia, sometimes abbreviated Ning, is located in the northwestern area in China, in the middle of the Yellow River region. Ningxia includes one district, three cities, two smaller cities, and fifteen counties, with a 66 thousand square kilometers area. Its capital is Yinchuan. Ningxia has an abundance of mineral resources, including excellent coal, silicon, and gesso. The water resources from the Yellow River have been redirected to water rice fields of Ningxia since 2000 years ago. Since then, Ningxia has been an important base for rice products in China. Ningxia is governed by the Hui ethnic group, which composes one third of the total population of Ningxia. With more than 3000 Muslim temples, Ningxia is a Muslim province. Long history, diversified land forms, and unique folklore are part of tourism resources of Ningxia province: the endless Helan Mountains and Liupan Mountains, the surging and winding Yellow River, the vast deserts and grasslands, the Xixia royal tomb (called the eastern Pyramid), Xumi Mountain stone cave- one of the grandest stone caves in China, and the distinctive Hui folk customs.

欣欣在寧夏建有10所欣欣小學，其中海原5所，固原市2所，西吉縣1所，彭陽縣1所，中衛市1所。 Shin Shin Educational Foundation has built ten schools in Ningxia, five in Haiyuan city, two in Guyuan city, one in Xiji county, one in Pengyang county, and one in Zhongwei city.
